What a long, tiring bus journey on Greyhound.  
It took me almost a whole day to move to Chicago.
In the very early morning, I finished my breakfast in St.Louis Air bnb, took the local bus to Greyhound station.  Before boarding, tagging your luggage is a must-do.  Different from Mega bus.

7.5 hours bus ride, I arrived in Cleveland.
The bus driver gave us 20 minutes break at the travel plaza.  Food is more expensive than usual, as a result, only 可樂果 and water was my food.
 On my way to Cleveland, the weather was rediculously crazy; sometimes partly sunny, sometimes stormy.  Thank God.  It wasn't rainy when I walked and searched for the local bus stop to the hostel.

Taking Amtrak is a free and easy way in the Unites, as it offers you not only more legging room than the bus but also a dining lounge and observation seats.  As a result, when you have an overnight journey like me, you get more choices to idle the time away.  BTW, enjoying a 2-dollar coffee and the sunrise is also priceless.

Compared to chicken and pork, American steak is my first priority to choose, as they always sell meat in a great quantity.  Being a solo traveler like me, I can't consume it in a short time, and I don't like to eat the same dish two days in a row, either.

Story- 3 
In the Litte Rock Hostel are one American white woman, a black woman, and two Swiss university students, Nick and Ana.
The white woman wasn't willing to answering me any questions when she was not on duty.  I, obviously, could tell she was not a prudent staff.  As to the black woman, she STOLE my three eggs when she was leaving and I hadn't checked out yet.  Shit behavior.  Three eggs are just US$ 0.5.  Well, that's for her medicine.  Wish her get well soon.

She was my angel sent by God to help me out when I got off nearby the intersection yesterday evening.

US$1 bus ride for 5.45 hours to Littl Rock Is a great deal for a budget- tight traveler.

Getting US$1 Mega bus ticket to Dallas saves me some money during the trip, but Dallas is a very pricy, boring, and scary city for me.
Compared with Austin and Houston, Dallas local bus tickets and accommodation are two times higher than Austin.  Besides, there wasn't any hostel in this city. Dallas Backpackers, searched from the air B & B, is about 10 kilometers away from downtown.  The house has a capacity of twelve bunks and a single room.  Sometimes, it looks kind of busy in the dining room, kitchen, and bathroom.  And It also seems that some people staying here for work temporarily; others are for traveling.  Actually, I don't have much interaction with them.
It was drizzling all day in Dallas yesterday.

8/27 Le Cafe Breakfast 

Le Cafe 用愛配結合刷卡點餐，可轉向讓客戶在愛配版面上刷卡，乾淨、利落。
眼看著2017年度旅遊到了尾聲，不禁問「有什麼遺憾嗎？」
鮮少外食、沒吃推薦餐廳、購物習慣同自己往年的節檢。今年不同的是買了不少東西給自己，衣物仍以特價品為主力。
幸好有在Western的Dollar Tree ，讓自己買了不少萬聖節教學用品和學生贈品。

8/26 The Chopping Block- pies, tarts and crostatas

早餐吃不多，再搭著棕線到Western，原本想到街上喝杯咖啡，一出站就看著遠方有Dollar Tree，說什麼也要去瞄一下，幸運的它九點就開門了，快手快腳的進去晃了一圈。
真是幸運，出了很多萬聖節的東西，也有不少節慶糖果，巧克力不選、大陸吃的產品不選，包括自己用的就挑了十二品項，五十顆眼球糖才一元，好滑算哪！連要給小孩的禮品被選了幾樣，算是豐收！
Pies, tarts, and crostatas這堂課選得太好了，主廚講了不少食材與烘培的科學原理，我還是一樣，有七八成聲不懂，也都是搭配自己的經驗猜出。
今天的團體成品是一個鹹派，就是一個清冰箱的概念，有什麼食材就放什麼，和QUICHE差不多。另三樣各別成品帶有回家：約八吋的格狀藍莓派、草莓派、做派皮麵糰，派皮麵糰我讓對面阿嬤帶回家。

8/25 The Chopping Block- blue ribbon baking class

早餐完搭著藍線到Western站，一出站問人確認了方向，一下子就找到了Chopping Block，時間還很早，就在主要大道晃了一圈，九點五十分入店詢問。
很幸運的今天只有四個學生，二男二女。
一到場就先請我們吃一道像西班牙烘蛋的熱食，很好吃，真的很好吃。
四種甜點，全都量好了所有材料，就依主廚指示，一一放入、攪拌、入模，，沒有太大困難，烤箱都是主廚在掌控，另一位助理幫忙傳遞與收拾。只是在講解一些化學原理時，我八成都是用猜的，裡面太多專用名詞都太難，主廚也不會因我是東方人而講慢點，所以只能盡量全神貫注的聽，拍照，食譜也看不夠快。
