She was my angel sent by God to help me out when I got off nearby the intersection yesterday evening.

US$1 bus ride for 5.45 hours to Littl Rock Is a great deal for a budget- tight traveler.
Before my departure, I did google the bus route and it showed that there was the last bus NO 6 to take me to Hi Little Rock Hostel.

Walking down the street, dragging my three-wheel luggage (one of the wheels almost falls apart), I greeted a couple who were the only people I could see at that time.  With their help texting the company and said there was NO BUS on Sunday.  All of a sudden, my face got pale.  I didn't think my three-wheel luggage could walk for 2 kilometers with me to the hostel.  Contacting Uber was the only way I could do.

When the couple were using their device to Uber, there was a car making U turn and stopped by us.  A black woman and her daughter were in the car.  She asked about my situation, made sure she had seen the couple and they also have a mutual friend, Sherry.

Hearing she was gonna give me a ride to the hostel, I was on top of the world.  To make me feel safe, three of them kept leaving each other messages to keep in touch.

She spared me some space for my luggage on the front, and I sat next to her daughter.  Before and during the 5-minute drive, she kept telling me like a mother "NEVER EVER get in others'  car no matter where you are."

When we approached the hostel, she not only pulled over by a convenient path for me to pull my luggage but also walked into the hostel with me and made sure I was fine there.

Thanks God‼️. Thank God‼️

I had no idea how to express my appreciation.
Nomatter where I am, I would remember once I'd accepted such a prompt and precious help from others, vice versa.
Thank God‼️‼️‼️

Heifer International, a non- profit organization, set its headquarter in Little Rock, in 1971.

At the beginning, the founder, Dan West, provided milk with people in hunger and poverty.   Soon, he taught people how to raise cows and grow the vegetables.  "Teach a man to fish" is his philosophy.  Gradually, farmers could manage their lives and share harvest with each other.

Now, Heifer is still open to the public for free.
There are farms, barns, and exhibitions on site.  They even hold events for different ages.
When I entered the center, I was the first guest to be there.  Luckily, I was guided by two American grannies alternately.

On the farms, you may see different vegetables, fruits and herbs.  Also, a variety of poultry, pigs, cattle and goats are on the field as well.  They even keep a few alpacas.

When kids visit Heifer, they teach them where their table foods come from and how they raise them.  In my view, it's totally different from the farms in Taiwan.  Quite  meaningful and educative.

BTW, there's a gift shop by the entrance.  I hadn't spent any item, but done something to support this project.

The brochure of Heifer is the only one I wanna bring back to Taiwan.
If interested, go see for yourself or visit its website for further info.

Arkansas is the natural state in the Unites States.
Without a car, nowhere you can go especially in such a low population density city, Little Rock.

There are houses, but there aren't surely human beings living.  In spite of it, as long as I walk on the street, people always greet me with a simple gesture, a smile, or saying Hello.

Breakfast time is the most relaxing time of the day.
Preparing a meal for myself is always a good try.
